VILLANOVA, Pa. - Junior forward Mouphtaou Yarou (Natitingou, Benin/Montrose Christian School) is this week's Philadelphia Big Five Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The 6-10 forward helped Villanova defeat Penn on a night when it played without frontcourt players Markus Kennedy and Maurice Sutton. As the only Wildcat standing taller than 6-6, Yarou contributed 33 sharp minutes, finishing with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the 'Cats held off the Quakers 73-65.

The double-double was Yarou's fourth in seven Villanova games this season.

The 5-2 Wildcats face 7-0 Missouri on Tuesday night at the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m./ESPN/ESPN 950 Radio).
