VILLANOVA, Pa. - The BIG EAST Conference has announced the 2012-13 men's basketball opponents for each of the 15 members of the league. Villanova will play each conference opponent at least once and will take on Pittsburgh, Providence, USF and Syracuse in both home and away venues, as the conference lineup revealed today.
Villanova's BIG EAST home contests for the 2012-13 season will be against Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers, St. John's, USF and Syracuse.
The Wildcats will travel to Cincinnati, Connecticut, DePaul, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Providence, Seton Hall, USF and Syracuse.
This is the second consecutive year in which Villanova will face USF at home and on the road and the sixth in-a-row with an 18-game conference lineup.
Dates, times and locations of the BIG EAST contests will be announced in September with the Wildcats' complete 2012-13 men's basketball schedule.
Villanova will play 10 of 18 conference games against teams that advanced to the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
