Men's Basketball Will Visit Minnesota on Wednesday

First round NIT matchup is set

Villanova, Pa. - The Villanova Wildcats will travel to Minneapolis to face the University of Minnesota of the Big Ten Conference in a first round game in the National Invitation Tournament, it was announced tonight.

Tipoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. E.S.T.

The two clubs last met in the opener of the 1997-97 campaign in Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers took that contest 68-55 and lead the all-time series 2-1.
