Head Coach Jay Wright...
On the game:
That was an outstanding second half for us. We were not surprised at all about the first half; we have great respect for Seton Hall. They have outrebounded five of their last six opponents and they are third in the league in 3-pt field goal defense and we were concerned with that. We struggled to get our shots in the first half but our defense in the second half picked us up and I was pleased we outrebounded them because they are a very good rebounding team.
I have to give them credit. They scored 36 points on us. They were making shots. We got some deflections defensively. Jason got us going; he really got on the offensive glass in the second half.
Right now we are concentrating on the fact that this is a tough game to play, I was proud of our guys because they battled back and I am pleased with their effort. I told them at half time that it was supposed to be like this, that Seton Hall was playing well and we were playing well too.
On Mike Nardi: I was pleased to get some minutes out of Mike Nardi, we could have played him more if we needed him, but we didn't want to push it, we were in good shape. We know he can play, he knows he can play and I think that will help us for Saturday and help us play better on Saturday going into the Big East Tournament.
On Win 20: I am happy for our program. I am happy for the school and happy for the fans. We finished a good home season and we played hard every night and I'm happy for all those things and happy that we came in and played well.
We missed a lot of shots and we were not playing good defense in the first half. They played great in the first half and we played well enough to stay in the game. We just kept our heads up and came out in the second half ready to play. We needed something to get us going and Randy's steal in the very beginning of the second half helped that. We needed that easy basket, and then Jason came in and got a couple rebounds and that helped us.
