Maalik Wayns scored 28 points, including two free throws with 22 seconds left in overtime, and Villanova beat St. John's 79-76 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Wayns, who averaged 32 points in the Wildcats' last two games, made the two free throws to give Villanova a 79-76 lead.
