One of the longest tenured members of the Villanova Basketball staff is head athletic trainer Jeff Pierce. The 2010-11 campaign marks Pierce's 23rd season with the basketball team, the longest stretch of consecutive years of service on the Wildcat staff.
Pierce holds bachelor of science and masters degrees from West Chester University and was awarded a masters degree in public administration from Villanova in 2005.
Pierce serves as the athletic department's sports medicine program's point personn with the men's basketball program. Along with team orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rob Good and team physician Dr. Frank Furman, Pierce helps oversee the daily rehablitation efforts of those athletes in the program coping with injury.
Pierce and his wife Rhonda make their home in Phoenixville, Pa. They have two daughters, Kelly and Lindsey, the latter a student at Villanova.
