Wildcats' Staff Reorganization Announced

Duties Shifted for Several Members of Jay Wright's Staff

Arleshia Davidson was elevated to the role of Special Assistant to the Head Coach in 2015 after previously serving as the Director of Basketball Operations.

In this capacity she assists Coach Wright with an assortment of tasks, including academic support, ticket distribution, event management and oversight of the Villanova Basketball Camps.

Davidson came to Villanova in 2009 with a strong academic background. From 2001-09, she was a Mathematics teacher at Bloomfield Vocational Technical Schools in New Jersey. She also served as the center director and teaching specialist at the U.S. Dream Academy in East Orange, N.J.

Davidson earned a mathematics degree from Florida State University, where she also played on the basketball team. She was a Dean's List student as an undergraduate.
