The Blue Chip Baseball Clinic being held this Sunday morning at the Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth is still on as scheduled, it was announced on Friday afternoon. Registration for the clinic will begin at 8 a.m., while the event itself runs from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The current weather forecast for this weekend is not expected to affect Sunday morning's schedule. The field at the Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth is being covered with a tarp for the duration of any rain that falls earlier in the weekend. Villanova's Blue Chip clinics are designed for high school players and feature a pro-style workout followed by a modified game. This coming Sunday is the first of four clinics to be held at the Wildcats home ballpark in coming weeks. The other dates are Sunday, September 13; Sunday, September 20 and Saturday, September 26. All four clinics begin with an 8 a.m. registration and run from 8:30-3:00.

Should any of the four dates experience bad weather, remaining dates will be used as a makeup date. Each clinic is capped to a limited number of players.
