VILLANOVA, Pa. - This afternoon's scheduled baseball game between Villanova and Penn State has been cancelled due to rain and will not be made up. The rainout this afternoon marks the sixth time this season that the Wildcats have had to postpone or cancel a game due to rain.

Villanova returns to action this Thursday at 7 p.m. for the start of a three-game series at West Virginia. The Wildcats enter the final weekend of the regular season trailing the final qualifying spot in the BIG EAST Championship by two games with three contests remaining.
