VILLANOVA, Pa. - After the Wildcats returned late Monday night from a weekend series against Notre Dame, today's scheduled game against La Salle has been cancelled. The teams had been scheduled to play at La Salle's Hank DeVincent Field at 3:00 p.m., but Villanova arrived back on campus just before midnight on Monday after playing a doubleheader against Notre Dame earlier in the day.

The Wildcats return to action this Wednesday at 3 p.m. when they visit Temple. The following is the team's upcoming schedule:

Wednesday, April 27 - at Temple (3 p.m.)
Thursday, April 28 - vs. TBA (3 p.m.)
Saturday, April 30 - at Boston College (Noon) - DH
Sunday, May 1 - at Boston College (Noon)
Wednesday, May 4 - vs. Temple (3 p.m.)
Thursday, May 5 - vs. TBA (3 p.m.)
