VILLANOVA, Pa. - Due to the snow and ice that fell earlier this week, and the threat of continued inclement weather over the weekend, the Wildcats have cancelled this weekend's Villanova Baseball Classic. The precipitation earlier in the week resulted in poor field conditions at the team's Plymouth Meeting ballpark, causing the cancellation.

Currently, there are no plans to make up any of the games from this weekend, which would have featured Hartford and Siena. The Wildcats next scheduled game is on Wednesday at 3:00 pm at La Salle.

Villanova has played its first 11 games this season away from home, and has compiled a 6-4-1 record in those games, including an 11-1 upset of No. 8 Florida on March 4.
