PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - Due to the rain that fell in the area on Friday afternoon, the scheduled baseball game between Villanova and Louisville has been postponed. The series opener will now take place on Saturday morning with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m.

Weather conditions on Saturday morning will dictate whether one game or two games will be played on Saturday. No game will start earlier than 11 a.m. on Saturday regardless of the weather in the morning. A determination will be made regarding the number of games to be played and will be posted on www.villanova.com as well as the Villanova Athletics Scoring Hotline at 888-400-NOVA (6682).

The weekend series between the two teams, the BIG EAST Conference opener for each, will conclude on Sunday at Noon with the final game(s) to be played that day. The series must be completed by the end of the day on Sunday and will not carry over beyond the weekend.

Villanova (8-6 overall, 0-0 BIG EAST) has not played since March 13 due to the recent inclement weather in the region.
