BOCA RATON, FLA-- On Saturday, March 3, the Villanova University baseball team's game against the University of Albany scheduled for 4:00 p.m at FAU Stadium, was cancelled due to transportation problems on the part of Albany. The contest will not be rescheduled.

In the Wildcats first game of the season on Friday, March 2, Villanova defeated Niagra by the score of 6-2. The `Cats (1-0) will resume play on Sunday, March 4, traveling to Florida International University for a doubleheader. Villanova will take on FIU at 1:00 p.m., and Buffalo at 6:00 p.m.
