Baseball vs. Delaware State

Villanova defeated Delaware State, 2-1, to win its home opener at the Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth on March 8, 2016.

On Bryson: Three-year member of the team (2014-16) who was signed as a non-drafted free agent following his junior season … Was a trusted left-handed relief option during his collegiate career and emerged as a successful late-inning reliever … Made effective use of both his fastball and a plus breaking ball.

Noble & Greenough School: Earned three varsity letters playing baseball as a pitcher and two playing football as a defensive end … In baseball was a tri-captain as a senior and batted .500 while earning Boston Globe honorable mention all-star recognition.
