On Emling: Big and strong hitter who has as much power as anyone on the team ... Could see time as a designated hitter early on and defensively is capable of playing first base and left field ... 2013: Saw action in 19 games, including starting five as the designated hitter ... Batted .313 (10-for-32) with two doubles, four runs scored and seven runs batted in ...
