Club Baseball: Played for the Mechanicsburg Cardinals Twilight team in 2012 and 2013 … Compiled a 0.76 ERA with 76 strikeouts during his time on the team.

Cumberland Valley High School: Earned three varsity letters … As a senior in 2013 earned all-state honors and was named to the All-Sentinel Team … Also was a Patriot News Big 11 selection … Two-time first team all-conference selection as both a pitcher and a first baseman his junior and senior years … Struck out 101 batters with a 1.21 ERA … Named to the Academic Honor Roll and was an inductee to the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 4/3/95 in Mechanicsburg, Pa. … Younger of two sons of Jim and Peggy Schryver … Has an older brother, Drew (24) … Chose to attend Villanova for the combination of its nationally-ranked Engineering school and the opportunity play Division I baseball … Took a liking to the campus upon his first visit to the school … Hobbies include snowboarding and playing hockey and basketball … Mechanical Engineering major.
