Career: At the time of his graduation ranked second in school history in appearances, was seventh in saves and eighth in ERA among pitchers with at least 100.0 career innings ... During his career pitched in more games than any right-handed pitcher in school history ... Made 80 appearances in a Villanova uniform, with all but one coming out of the bullpen ... 2014: Consistent performer in long relief and in the late innings of games ... Pitched in 20 games with one start and went 2-3 on the year with a 3.74 ERA ... Averaged 9.3 strikeouts per nine innings with a total of 45 strikeouts over 43 1/3 innings ... Gave up just 35 hits and held opposing batters to a .220 batting average against him ... Allowed only one home run to 188 batters faced ... Surrendered 21 runs (18 earned) and issued 18 walks ... Threw four scoreless innings with six strikeouts and just one hit allowed to earn a win against Niagara; BIG EAST: Made seven relief appearances in conference play and was mostly used in long relief ... Logged 37.0 innings with 30 strikeouts while allowing 48 hits, 31 runs (24 earned) and 20 walks ... Did not allow a run in 15 of his appearances and surrendered just one earned run six other times ... Logged at least two innings in eight of his appearances ... Gave up just one earned run over 13.0 innings in his first eight outings and had a 0.69 ERA during that stretch ... Threw two innings and allowed one hit while striking out three to pick up a win against Iona ... Tossed three scoreless innings with a career-high four strikeouts and just one hit allowed versus Saint Joseph's ... In a stretch of eight appearances from March 24 through April 12 allowed three earned runs over 12 2/3 innings (2.13 ERA) ... Tossed a scoreless inning and had two strikeouts in a win over NYIT ... Worked a scoreless inning with one hit allowed in his season debut against Central Connecticut State; BIG EAST: Appeared in relief against St. John's and pitched a scoreless inning with two walks and one strikeout.

2011: Pitched in three games out of the bullpen and logged 3 2/3 scoreless innings ... Allowed three hits and three walks while striking out three ... Opposing batters were just 3-for-13 (.231) against him ... In his collegiate debut pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning with one strikeout to close out a 13-1 win over Norfolk State ... Threw 1 2/3 innings of relief and struck out two versus North Carolina A&T ... Pitched a scoreless ninth inning against Iona.

Nyack High School: Earned four varsity letters in baseball and one in swimming ... Pitched and played third base as a baseball player ... As a senior posted a 1.44 ERA with 75 strikeouts over 58 innings pitched and threw a no-hitter in the sectional championships ... Merited all-league, all-county and fifth team all-state accolades ... Achieved academic honor roll status all four years ... Named a Rockland County Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Born 8/18/92 in Nyack, N.Y. ... Youngest of three children of John and Marion Haggarty ... Has two older siblings, Brian and Colleen ... Father played attack for the Villanova lacrosse team from 1982-85 and was inducted to the Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2011 ... Graduated from Villanova in the spring of 2014 and began a Master's program in Education during his final year of baseball eligibility.
