2006: Began the season as the team's starting third baseman and a late-inning relief pitcher ... Flourished as the team's closer and was shifted to full-time relief duty ... Wound up pitching in 20 games out of the bullpen and logging 25.2 innings pitched ... Limited the opposition to a miniscule .176 batting average (16 hits in 91 at-bats) ...
