Villanova defeated Chicago State, 8-2, on March 15, 2013.

On Bochicchio: Versatile player for Villanova who could play multiple defensive positions and was also a threat as a right-handed bat off the bench ... Played in both the infield and the outfield ... Showed gap power at the plate and a consistent approach from the right side ... Ran the bases well and made contributions in both the starting lineup and in a reserve role.

Career: Overcame injuries during parts of his career to play in 82 games with 35 starts ... Batted .205 (32-for-156) with a .273 on-base percentage and a .256 slugging percentage ...
