Wildcats to Compete in Pre-NCAA Meet on Saturday

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova men's cross country team is looking forward to an action-packed weekend as travel to Terre Haute, Ind. to compete in the Pre-NCAA Invitational hosted by Indiana State University on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The Wildcats, ranked No. 22 in the nation, will test their talents among the nation's elite athletes in hopes of manufacturing top performances and finishes. So far this season, the Villanova men's squad has captured the highly touted Paul Short Invitational title, with senior sensation Bobby Curtis claiming the individual title and setting a new course record in the process.

The Villanova women's team recently wrapped up competition at the Penn State Invitational at the Blue-White Golf Course in University Park, Pa. earlier today. Freshman Sheila Reid not only placed first for the Wildcats, but also was the first freshman to finish the race with a time of 21:36. Her efforts, along with that of her teammates, gave Villanova a 10th place finish overall.
