Men's Cross Country Finishes 9th at 27th Paul Short Run

Lehigh, Pa. - On Saturday, October 7, the men's cross country team traveled to Lehigh University to participate in the 27th Paul Short Run. The Wildcats recorded 285 points to finish 9th in the 36-team run. Michigan State captured the team title with 65 points. Cornell finished second with 105 and Navy took third with 117. Villanova sophomore Adrian Blincoe (Auckland, New Zealand) finished first with a time of 24:08:83.
Other Villanova runners included freshman Morgan Scoville (Nashville, Tenn.), Pat Dunn (East Setauhet, N.J.), and Andrew Jackman (Somersworth, N.H.). Scoville crossed the line at 25:50.57. His time was good enough for 60th place. Dunn finished 78th with a time of 26:04.87 and Jackman crossed at 26:06.16. Jackman finished 80th.
Junior James Osborn, Jr. (Horesheads, N.Y.) finished 82nd, after running a time of 26:07.61. Sophomore Chris Johnson (Easton, Mass.) and junior Eric Reese (Dushore, Pa.) rounded out the times for Villanova runners. Johnson finished 93rd at 26:14.15, while Reese finished 104th with a time of 26:23.38.
