CARY, N.C. - On Friday, Sept. 26th, the Villanova men's cross country team competed in Great American Cross Country Festival at SAS Park in Cary, N.C. The Wildcats performed well in the Men's 8K Run, placing two runners in the top 10.
Leading the way for Villanova was senior Jon Fasulo who finished second in a time of 25:40.6, less that seven seconds behind first place Travis Laird of Northern Arizona. Fellow Wildcat Milos Mitric also placed in the top 10, finishing eight in a time of 26:02.4
Villanova freshmen Bobby Curtis (26:34.4) and Kippy Keino (27:00.5) were the next Wildcat finishers in 37th and 52nd place respectively. Winding down the race for the `Cats were Jason Jabaut in 72nd place (27:23.5), Marc Pelerin in 73rd place (27:24.5), and freshman David Van Orsdel in 85th place (28:39.1).
