Syracuse, N.Y.- On Saturday, February 22, the Villanova University men's and women's indoor track teams competed at the Big East Championships held at Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.

On the women's side, the women stand in sixth place overall, with top individual performances by Michelle Ezzie finishing second in the pole vault and Michelle Heffernan finishing eighth in the 20lb. weight throw.

The men's distance medley relay finished first for the second consecutive year with Adrian Blincoe, Patrick Hickey, Jason Jabaut and Ryan Hayden winning with a time of 9:53.86.

The men are in eighth place overall with one day remaining in competition. The Big East Championshios continue tomorrow with the remaining events scheduled for competiton.
