Strong athlete and solid competitor who played a supportive role on the Wildcat squad in her sophomore year. After a brilliant spring track season which included winning the Big East steeplechase and going onto compete at the national championships in that event, Morrison is poised to be a big contributor to the team's success this cross country season.
Villanova: 2008- At the season opener, Morrison was the team's 3rd runner with her 12 place finish at the Old Nassau Run. Among tough competition early in the season, she finished an impressive 24th at the Paul Short Invitational helping her team to a second place finish out of a field of 47 teams. She was 65th at the Pre-NCAA meet when the Wildcats finish 2nd in their Blue Race. Next up was the Big East Championships at Van Cortland Park where her 17th place put her in front of runner-up West Virgina's 4th runner and sealed the victory for the team. Next as the team's 5th runner, an under-the-weather Morrison mustered up a 29th place effort to help her wildcat squad finish 3rd at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals. She finished up the season with another solid run placing in the top 140 at the NCAA Championships where the Wildcats took 6th.
2007- Started off the season finishing 6th at the Delaware Invitational. At the Paul Short Invitational, she served as the team's 6th runner and concluded her freshman campaign with a 144th place finish at the Penn State Invitational.
