Outstanding talent coming off an impressive, award-winning sophomore year. A solid competitor, Marino consistently ran in the team's top three and ultimately earned All-American honors with her 35th place finish at her first national championships where the Wildcats took 6th. She garnered two more All-American honors on the track and with her continued dedication, is expected to help lead the Wildcats on the cross country course this fall.
2008 - After finishing 9th at the Old Nassau Run in Princeton, Marino placed 21st at the Paul Short Invitational to help her team get 2nd in a field of 47 teams. She again asserted herself as the team's 4th runner at the Pre-NCAA meet where her 30th place finish contributed to the Wildcats 2nd place finish. The Big East Championships were next and Marino's solid 9th place performance earned her all conference honors and helped seal the victory for her team. After sitting out the Mid-Atlantic Regionals, Marino returned with force to place 35th at the National Championships earning All-American status and helping her team to a 6th place finish.
2007 - Started off her career as a Wildcat with a 5th place finish at the Delaware Invitational. At the Paul Short Invitational and Penn State Invitational, Marino was 5th for the team and finished 118th and 72nd respectively. With her 38th place finish, she again went on to be the team's 5th runner at the Big East Championships. At the Mid-Atlantic Regionals, she stepped up to the 4th spot on the team finishing 29th and her 12th place finish at the ECAC Championships helped her team clinch the team title.
