Reid named to Capital One Academic All-America team for second straight year

Sophomore (2009): Began at Villanova in January 2009 after studying at university in Australia. Won the Big East Indoor Mile in 4.06. Anchored the winning DMR team at the Penn Relays with a 1600m split of 3:58. Placed 5th at the 2008 NCAA Championships in the 1500m with a personal best of 3:40

Australia: Won the 2007 Australian U20 800m and 1500m double a few months after finishing at High School. Competed at the IAAF Melbourne Grand Prix in 2007 and 2008, running PB's of 1.49 in the 800m and 3.45 in the 1500m respectively. Coached by former Olympian Pat Scammell.

High School: Won several medals at the Australian All-Schools Championships over 800m and 1500m.

Personal: Born 16 June, 1988 in Albury, Australia. Studied in Melbourne as a boarding student for the final two years of high school. Father Paul and younger brother Daniel have both won Victorian State 1500m Championships. Represented the state of Victoria along with brothers Daniel and Tim at the 2007 Australian Cross Country Championships. Undeclared Arts major.
