Swimming & Diving Welcomes Nine to the Class of 2021

Villanova men’s and women’s swimming head coach Rick Simpson and his staff announced Wednesday afternoon the addition of nine student-athletes that will make up the Class of 2021. 

"We are excited to welcome these nine student-athletes to Villanova University, and to our program. They were very enthusiastic throughout the recruiting process, and we are certainly looking forward to working with them in the Fall," stated Simpson. 

This class will have seven women and two males, from seven different states and one from the United Kingdom.  Two females will join the team as divers while the other seven will swim in a variety of events this upcoming season.

Personal: Born April 27, 1999 in Greenwich, Connecticut to Jim and Kim Daine….Father Jim played football at Columbia University…Her older brother, Dillon, played baseball at Bard College…Plans to major in Political Science…Enjoys going to the beach and traveling…Chose Villanova because of the ideal combination of size, proximity to a major city, and very welcoming students who seem to have a strong sense of service and community.
