Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Receive Recognition for Academics

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Wildcats have proved once again that their successes are not limited to the pool as both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named ranked in the top 15 of the CSCAA's Scholar All-America Teams list. This list ranks team's average GPAs for the fall semester.

The women's team earned a 13th-place ranking among DI schools on the CSCAA list. Last season, the women featured 19 student-athletes on the BIG EAST's All-Academic list. The men came in at 11th place on the Scholar All-America Team list for their academic achievements during this past semester. In 2011-12, the men had 14 BIG EAST All-Academic members.
