PRINCETON, N.J. - The Villanova men's swimming & diving team participated in the Big Al Open last weekend, taking sixth place with 147 team points.

The Wildcats competed against Princeton, Dartmouth, Brown, Columbia and Rider, with the host Tigers taking first with 1,283 points.

Jason Moyer, Chris Tamanini, Kyle Grant and Mike Rodriguez took ninth in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:25.66.

Moyer came in 16th in the B group of the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.26. He also finished 13th in the 100 freestyle with a 46.69.

Tamanini finished 15th in the B group of the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.58.

The Wildcats return to the pool for competition on Jan. 10 at NC State in Raleigh, N.C.
