PRINCETON, N.J. - After day two of the 2002 Princeton Swimming & Diving Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 7, the Villanova swimming & diving team was still third in the overall standings (690), trailing both Princeton (1,708) and Rutgers (956.5). The day was highlighted by individual wins by both Maddy Crippen and Rebecca Koch.

In the 400 yard individual medley, Crippen took home a first place finish with a winning time of 4:20.30. Koch posted an individual win in the 200 yard freestyle, swimming a first place time of 1:48.93.

A pair of `Cats also earned second place finishers for the Villanova women on Saturday. Kiersten Rosenberg placed second in the 100 yard butterfly (56.38), while Tori Delollo was second in the 100 yard backstroke (57.43).

Competing in the 100 back as well for the Wildcats and finishing just one spot behind Delollo was Nichole Werger who swam a third place time of 59.01.

In women's relay competition, Villanova's contingent of Rosenberg, Crippen, Delollo and Koch finished second with a time of 7:29.20.

On the men's side, Adam Walchak recorded a pair of eighth place finishes on day two. Walchak placed eighth in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 51.98, as well as finishing eighth in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 58.47.
