Although the men's team came up short against their opponents, they saw strong performances from multiple swimmers and divers.

" We were very impressed with our performances this weekend. Our athletes did a great job of making adjustments in their races from last week," Swimming head coach Rick Simpson said.

Alexa Fabbri kicked things off for the Wildcats as she swam to a first-place finish in the 200 free, clocking in at 1:50.45. Fabbri also took first the 100 free, 100 fly, and second in the 50 free. Darby Goodwin has another strong weekend as she touched the second in 100 and 200 back. Caitlin Daday continued to finish in the top three in the 1,000 freestyle as she took third with a time of 10:14.05.

The Wildcats had some key performers on the men's squad, as Andrew Kelley finished second in the 100-backstroke clocking in at 51.04. Teammate Justin Cucchi finished fifth in the 100 back. Jake Hoin had a strong finish in the 50 freestyle as he tied for fourth with a time of 21.43. Diver Michael Perra took home a third-place finish in the 1 meter dive as he finished the meet with 263.85 points.

"Our performance highlights certainly were our relays. We are very excited about the potential of all of our relays both in conference and on the national scene." Simpson said.

The women's relay teams took second in the 100-freestyle relay and 200 medley relay while the men's relay teams took fifth in the 200-freestyle relay and fourth in the 400-medley relay.
