VILLANOVA, Pa. - Diver Michelle Hall competed for the Wildcats in the 2014 BIG EAST Championships on Saturday. Hall placed third on the 3-meter board and sixth on the 1-meter board.
Seton Hall divers took the top spots in each event. Gabby Signorelli took first on both boards while Ben Mitchell swept the men's field
Hall finished the 1-meter preliminaries with a 193.75, good for sixth in the field of competitors. With a score of 374.30 at the end of finals, Hall maintained her sixth place on the board.
After a break, Hall and her fellow female divers returned for 3-meter board competition. Hall earned a score of 200.25 for fourth at the end of the preliminaries. The North Andover, Mass., native performed well in finals, earning 404.95 total points and third place in the event.
Due to the limited field of divers, both preliminary and finals scores were factored into the total for each competitor.
The swimmers are up next as they compete in the BIG EAST Swimming Championships Feb. 19-22 in Sewell, N.J.
