Sacramento, Calif.- At the 82nd annual NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships held in Hornet Stadium on the California State University-Sacramento campus, Villanova's Nic O'Brien and Jon Fasulo qualified for the finals in the 400 meter hurdles and 5,000 meters, respectively.

O'Brien won his heat with a time of 50.47, edging out South Carolina's Ken Ferguson who ran a 50.49. The 400 meter hurdle final will be held on Friday, June 13 at 7:35 PST.

Fasulo qualified for Saturday's final (9:00 PST) by finishing seventh in his heat in a time of 14:07.26.
