Visiting Team Guide

Dear Visiting Athletic Trainer;

On behalf of the Villanova Sports Medicine Department, I would like to welcome you to Villanova University. The following information should prepare you for your upcoming visit.

The Athletic Training Rooms are located in the Jake Nevin Field House and The Davis Center for Athletics & Fitness, which are located at the intersection of Lancaster Ave. (Rte 30) and Ithan Ave. Ultrasound, electric stimulation, moist heat and ice will be available in the athletic training room for your use. It will be open approximately 2 hours before and 1 hour after the game.

The turf is located just east of Jake Nevin Field House, soccer fields are on West Campus, and the Softball field is located across the street from Jake Nevin Field House. The Baseball field is located off campus. There will be water, cups and injury ice on the visiting bench. Splints, crutches and biohazard containers will be located on the home bench for your use during the game. Also, our team physician or fellow will be on call or present for the game should the need arise.

Please notify us at least 48 hours prior to arrival if you have any special needs or your team will be traveling without a certified athletic trainer. Thank you and best wishes in your upcoming season.

Thank You and Safe Travels,

The Villanova Sports Medicine Staff
