A major winter snowstorm expected to impact the northeast Monday afternoon and evening has forced the postponement of tonight's scheduled radio show.
In the fifth and sixth place match in the City 6 Tournament against La Salle, men's tennis took home the victory with a 7-0 win. The score cemented the Wildcats as the fifth place team in the tournament's final standings.
Rodney Taylor, a rugged forward who helped the Wildcats reach the 1988 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, died on Jan. 24.
Junior point guard Caroline Coyer poured in a career-high 28 points to lead the Villanova Wildcats to an 81-69 win over the visiting St. John's Red Storm. Coyer was 11-of-18 from the field and 6-of-10 from three-point range. The 11 field goals and six triples represent career-highs as well.

Led by terrific performances in the middle distance races, Villanova won six events overall and won the team title at the Metro Team Challenge held at the New York Armory on Friday afternoon. A number of teams from the region took part in the meet, which was the second in as many weeks for the Wildcats at the famed New York City venue.

Villanova will host the St. John's Red Storm on Sunday, Jan. 25, at noon. The Wildcats enter play with an 11-9 overall record and a 5-3 Big East mark, while St. John's is 15-4 overall and 6-2 in league play.
In women's basketball action on Friday evening, the Villanova Wildcats gave a valiant effort, but came up short in a 59-56 loss to No. 25 Seton Hall.
