The Villanova men's golf team will open its fall schedule this Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7 at the seventh annual Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Missouri in Verona, N.Y.
This weekend the field hockey team (0-2) returns to action starting Friday with a home game when the team will take on Ball State (0-2) at 4 pm. Sunday the team will play their first away game of the season when they travel to West Long Branch New Jersey to take on Monmouth University (0-1) at 1 pm.

The Villanova women's soccer team concludes a five-game away stand this weekend when they hit the road to face the Pittsburgh Panthers and 12th-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers on Friday, Sept. 4th and Sunday, Sept. 6th.
The Villanova volleyball team travels to Denver, Colo. this weekend for three games in the Denver Classic.

Two teams who met frequently on the gridiron as Yankee Conference and Atlantic 10 Conference opponents will renew acquaintances on Thursday night when No. 4 Villanova (0-0) meets Connecticut (0-0) in the 2015 season opener. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn., and the game will be televised live on SNY and ESPN3. The game will mark the first meeting between the Wildcats and the Huskies in 16 years, although the teams have met a total of 11 times previously. Fans can also tune in to the action on 610 SPORTS (WTEL-AM) or hear live streaming audio of the radio broadcast online at Villanova.com.
