Getting to Villanova

By Car

    From New York and New England: Take the New Jersey Turnpike (95) to EXIT 6 (Pennsylvania Turnpike (276) exit). Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (276) Westbound to EXIT 25A/20 (Mid-County Interchange) I-476 South/Chester. Follow I-476 South to EXIT 13 (Villanova/St. David's). At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto Route 30 East, also known as Lancaster Avenue.

    From the West: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to EXIT 326 (formerly EXIT 24) for Valley Forge, this becomes I-76. Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to EXIT 28-A (I-476 South/Chester). Take I-476 South to EXIT 13 (Villanova/ St. Davids).

    From the East: Take I-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) to EXIT 28-A (I-476 South/Chester). Take I-476 South (to Chester) to EXIT 13 (Villanova/ St. Davids). At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto Route 30 East, also known as Lancaster Avenue.

    From the South: Take I-95 North to EXIT 7 (I-476 North/Plymouth Meeting). Take I-476 North to EXIT 13 (Villanova/St. Davids). Proceed East on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) for one-half mile and at the fourth traffic light you will see Villanova's main parking lot on the right. To reach the Main Gate entrance turn left at the next light (Ithan Avenue) and follow to the second drive on left, directly across from the Pavilion.

By Train
Take AMTRAK to the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Ask the attendant to direct you to the Suburban Trains. Take the R5 Paoli Local train to Villanova. The train stops directly on our campus. NOTE: You can save money by buying your local train ticket before boarding.

When you leave the train, take the pedestrian tunnel under the tracks and walk straight through the walkway under Mendel Hall. When you come out from the arch, go straight toward the back of St. Thomas of Villanova Church (the stone building with two spires). The second building to your left is Austin Hall, which houses the Office of Admission.

By Bus
When your bus arrives in Philadelphia, ask the attendant to direct you to the train station at Market East. Take the R5 Paoli Local train to Villanova, and follow the above directions.

By Plane
Arrange to fly into Philadelphia International Airport, which is located 25 minutes from the Villanova campus. From the airport you have three options:

    Train: Ask the attendant at the airport baggage counter to direct you to the train station. Purchase a combination ticket to the Villanova Station. All trains go to the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. At 30th Street, change trains and board the R5 Paoli Local train which will take you directly to the Villanova campus.

    Rental Car (or other private transportation): When leaving the airport, follow the signs for I-95 South. Take I-95 South to Exit 7 (I-476 (Blue Route) North-Plymouth Meeting). Take I-476 (Blue Route) North to Exit 5 (US 30 - St. Davids/Villanova). Go east on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) for one-half mile and at the fourth traffic light you will see Villanova's parking lot on the right.

Directions to V.U. Athletics' Fields/Facilities:

West Campus Soccer and Tennis Complex:
From directions above, at bottom of ramp turn right (at light) onto Route 30 East, also known as Lancaster Ave. Proceed east. At the third light, turn left onto Spring Mill Road, also known as Rte. 320. Cross over small bridge. Upon descent from bridge, take the first right and follow clockwise under the bridge until you reach stop sign. Proceed straight to West Campus Gate where Campus Security will direct you to the fields/courts which are located behind the apartments.

Jake Nevin Fieldhouse (Volleyball) and Villanova Football Stadium (for Football, Field Hockey, Lacrosse):
From directions above, at bottom of ramp turn right (at light) onto Route 30 East, also known as Lancaster Ave. Proceed east on Route 30 and at the fifth traffic light you will see Jake Nevin Fieldhouse on the far left corner of the intersection and the Villanova Football Stadium directly past the Fieldhouse (on Lancaster). Turn right at this light onto Ithan Avenue and park in Main lots on either side of the road.

The Pavilion (Men's and Women's Basketball, Swimming, Women's Water Polo):
From directions above, at bottom of ramp turn right (at light) onto Route 30 East, also known as Lancaster Ave. Proceed east on Route 30 and at the fifth traffic light you will see Jake Nevin Fieldhouse on the far left corner of the intersection, where Ithan crosses Route 30/Lancaster. The Pavilion is to the left of the Fieldhouse on Ithan. Turn right onto Ithan Avenue and park in Main lots on either side of the road.

Softball Field:
From directions above, at bottom of ramp turn right (at light) onto Route 30 East, also known as Lancaster Ave. Proceed east on Route 30 and at the fifth traffic light you will see Jake Nevin Fieldhouse on the far left corner of the intersection, where Ithan crosses Route 30/Lancaster. Turn left at this light onto Ithan. Take second left into Main Gate. Softball field will be immediately on your right.

Villanova Baseball's New Ballpark at Plymouth Meeting:
From the South: Take I-95 North to Exit 7 North/Plymouth Meeting. This will put you on I-476/Blue Route. Follow I-476/Blue Route North to Exit 20 for Plymouth Meeting/Germantown Pike West. The exit forks, take the left fork onto Plymouth Road. When you get to the first stop light take a right onto Germantown Pike. Go approximately 1.5 miles on Germantown Pike and then take a right onto Walton Road. Take your first quick left into the parking lot for the complex.

From the West: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 24/Valley Forge. Take I-76/Schuylkill Expressway to Exit 28-A which will put you on I-476/Blue Route. Take I-476/Blue Route North to Plymouth Meeting. Follow I-476/Blue Route North to Exit 20 for Plymouth Meeting/Germantown Pike West. The exit forks, take the left fork onto Plymouth Road. When you get to the first stop light take a right on to Germantown Pike. Go approximately 1.5 miles on Germantown Pike and then take a right on to Walton Road. Take your first quick left into the parking lot for the complex.

From the North: Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 6, the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Northeast extension. Follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 25-A (Mid-county interchange). Take the second exit ramp for I-476/Blue Route, South/to Chester. Follow I-476/Blue Route South to Exit 19 for Plymouth Meeting. When you get to the first stop light go north on to Germantown Pike. Go 1.5 to 2 miles on Germantown Pike and then take a right on to Walton Road. Take your first quick left into the parking lot for the complex.
