Position: Marketing Department Coordinator - Internship
Start Date: July 1
End Date: May 31
Pay: Paid - $1,000 monthly stipend

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree; Willingness to learn; Exceptional customer service skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Passion for sports and marketing; Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Preferred: Sports marketing experience at either the professional or collegiate level; Master's degree or working towards a master's degree preferable; Experience using Graphic Design Programs (Photoshop; Publisher; Adobe Premiere).
Job Description:
- Assist in the execution of fall and spring Olympic sport marketing plans, which includes: operating the video board at home games; supporting campus and community advertising; and continuing to increase the community's awareness of Villanova Athletics.
- Assist in planning and grassroots marketing designed to sell tickets for Villanova football.
- Sell group tickets to football and women's basketball games.
- Run the Cat Pack Kids Club - solicit members, arrange and execute events, etc.
- Coordinate the mascot appearance schedule and seek out community events that will increase Villanova's exposure in the area.
- Coordinate game day activities for football/men's & women's basketball - organize and execute on-court promotions; compile the band & cheer pass lists; schedule anthem performers; operate the ClickEffects Music program for home games; and possible script writing.
- Responsible for running the Nova Nation Pre-Game Tailgate Tent at football games - accounting, scheduling, setup, breakdown.
- Design advertising and promotional materials, including flyers, schedule cards, ads.
- Assist in marketing the V Club (the athletics department fundraising division).
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position: Nova Nation All-Access Production Internship
Start Date: August 1

Pay: Potential to be paid on a per project or special event basis

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience: Marketing/Video Production Experience or background in communications/media; FTP software and web development environments; experience working with Adobe Premiere/Windows Movie Maker or other basic video editing packages; working knowledge of video web steaming and of the Tri-Caster Video system.
Job Description:
Responsible for production of all athletics' video webcasting, including coordinating talent, arranging interviews, staffing and training camera operators.
Work in conjunction with CBS College Sports Television to troubleshoot at events, archive produced footage, and EPG development.
Design graphics for the Villanova Stadium video message board and the TriCaster Editing program.
Responsible for editing and filming of special features to air on Villanova.com's Nova Nation All-Access. This includes utilizing editing software and operating and/or training camera operators.
Must have a flexible schedule to be able to accommodate spur of the moment interviews and scheduling changes.
Must be able to meet quick turnaround times.
This is a great opportunity to write, direct, and produce sports features, commercials, and highlights that will air on Villanova.com and possibly at the Wachovia Center during men's basketball games.
Explore and benchmark other university webcasting features to pitch new story ideas and concepts to add value and content to the Nova Nation All-Access program.

- Individual will be responsible for being the Marketing Director for two Olympic Sports during the semester of their hire. They will be expected to increase the overall awareness of the program and increase attendance.
- Staff the sports marketing table at athletics events.
- Help coordinate and execute gameday promotions.

- Staff community outreach events.
- Assist with the setup, staffing and breakdown of the 'Nova Nation Pre-Game Tent at Football games.
