Position: Fitness Center Operations and Program Manager
Start Date: August 1
End Date: May 31
Pay: $1400 per month; no benefits

Required: Bachelor's Degree; must be familiar with fitness equipment and training techniques; strong management and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: Certification as a Personal Trainer and/or Group Exercise Instructor preferred.
Intern will act as the primary manager of the University's Fitness Centers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Personnel Management: Responsible for hiring and scheduling approximately 50 student employees to supervise the three University fitness centers. Conduct ongoing student employee training sessions, provide direct supervision to student employees on a daily basis and ensure employee compliance with Department expectations. Conduct annual student employee evaluations. Act as the University liaison with the Department's Group Exercise Instructors.
- Facility Management: Regularly enforce fitness center policies. Identify and address facility and equipment maintenance needs on a daily basis.
- Program Development: Responsible for the management and evaluation of current fitness programs as well as the creation and implementation of new fitness programs. Identify patron needs and assist in the development of recreational services.
- Game Management: Act as a game manager for a variety of varsity sports at Villanova.
