Internship Career Development Series

Villanova University Department of Athletics recognizes that our interns are crucial to the successful operation of the Department. Our interns are given a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the athletic administration field. Our intent as administrators will be to expose the intern to many separate yet interconnected areas within our department as well as providing for career development through educational learning seminars. Our Career Development Series, presented each spring semester, includes seminar round table discussions on the following topics:

We invite 4-6 of our prominent administrators and at least one coach to share their experiences in the field of athletics including how they ended up here at Villanova and their advice on how to advance your career in today's competitive Athletics job market. At the end the Interns are asked to pose questions to the panel relative to career advancement.
