Villanova 14th in Sears Cup Standings

Villanova University currently stands in 14th place in the race for the Division I Sears Director's Cup. The Cup is presented by the nation's athletic directors and is the first-ever cross-sectional all sports national recognition award for men and women.

The champion is determined by points earned in 22 sports. Villanova has accumulated a total of 221.5 points through the fall and winter completions. The University of Nebraska holds a slim lead in total points with 384.5, while the University of Colorado and the University of North Carolina are second and third with 350.5 and 334.5 points, respectively.
