Stacy Carone is entering her ninth year at Villanova University and her fourth season with the Women's Basketball team.
Stacy coordinates all aspects of the Women's Basketball team’s health care, as well as assists with the development and execution of the strength and conditioning program. In addition to being a certified athletic trainer, she is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist, spinning certified fitness instructor and an adjunct professor.
Stacy began her career as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Villanova in 2007 where she assisted with the football, field hockey and softball teams. In 2009, she was hired as a full time contracted athletic trainer through NovaCare Rehabilitation and served as the primary athletic trainer for the men's soccer team.
Stacy is a 2007 graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. In May 2009, she earned a Masters of Public Administration from Villanova University. Stacy is a Board Certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), licensed by the State of Pennsylvania, and an active member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and The Alliance for Intercollegiate Sports Medicine.
Stacy and her husband, Jim reside in Hightstown, N.J. Jim is a former Villanova Baseball assistant who is currently the head coach at Wagner College.
