VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT AWARDS
Beginning with the 1993-94 academic year the Villanova Athletic Department recognizes a male and a female Senior Student-Athlete of the Year at an annual banquet held each May to honor all graduating student-athletes. The award takes into account athletic accomplishments and academic success. The Athletic Department also recognizes teams each year with the Nnenna Lynch Award (presented to the team with the top composite grade-point average) and the Dr. Dan Regan Award (presented to the team with the most improved composite team GPA from the year before).
