Saturday's Men and Women's Basketball Games to go on as Scheduled

With teams and officials all in town, Saturday's men and women's basketball games will not be affected by the inclement weather.

VILLANOVA, PA-- The PNC Wildcat Christmas Classic women's basketball consolation and championship Games and the Villanova men's basketball game versus St. Francis scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 30 at The Pavilion, will go on as scheduled despite the inclement weather expected to hit the east coast Friday night into Saturday. All of the teams scheduled to participate on Saturday, along with the officials, are already in town and will thus not be affected by the weather conditions in the Philadelphia area.

On Saturday in the PNC Wildcat Christmas Classic consolation game, Bucknell will meet Northeastern at noon. In the championship Game at 2:00 p.m., the Villanova women's basketball team will host Howard University.

The Villanova men's basketball team will step on the court Saturday night, as the Wildcats play host to the St. Francis (Pa.) Red Flash at 7:30 p.m.
