Villanova Set to Host BIG EAST Outdoor Track Championships This Weekend

Conference meet runs from Friday through Sunday at Villanova Stadium

Villanova is hosting the BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships this year for the 22nd time in the 32-year history of the event.

VILLANOVA, Pa.--For the third time in the last four years and the 22nd time in the 32-year history of the event the BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships come to Villanova Stadium this weekend, where the Wildcats will host 13 men's teams and 15 women's teams in the conference meet. Competition begins on Friday morning and runs through Sunday afternoon.

Free live streaming of the BIG EAST Championships as well as live results throughout the meet can be accessed by clicking on the links at the top of this release. Tickets to the championships are available at the door. Admission is free on Friday and costs $4 for adults and $2 for students and seniors on both Saturday and Sunday. All students from BIG EAST schools will be allowed free admission.
