Villanova Stadium was built in 1927 and plays host to wide variety of activities. It is the home field for the Varsity Football, Field Hockey, Men's & Women's Lacrosse, Men's & Women's Track & Field, and Intramurals. It is also the home field for the WUSA's Philadelphia Charge. The track, named after Villanova's legendary coach, is an 8-lane Rekortan surface. A state of the art PA system was added in the Summer of 1993.
Villanova Stadium houses the Football offices and the locker rooms for the Varsity Football, Field Hockey, and Men's Lacrosse teams. The press box was recently renovated in the year 2000. It is a 4 level facility with a commanding view of the field. It also has a conference room on the 2nd floor with the capacity of 75 people, a study hall on the 3rd floor, and individual tutoring rooms on the 4th floor for student athletes. The stadium Press box serves a dual roll and is referred to as the "ARC" (Academic Resource Center). The "ARC" provides Villanova's student athletes with individual computer stations (30) and individual one-on-one tutoring sessions, which are coordinated through the office of Academic Support.
The Athletic Weight Room (Power House) is located in the North East corner of the stadium. University concessions are located in the East end of the stadium and the restroom facilities are located in both the South and North tunnels.
