Czinege and Schryver Named Senior CLASS Award Candidates
Senior second baseman Todd Czinege (Overland Park, Kan.) and senior starting pitcher Hunter Schryver (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) were each among the 30 initial student-athletes named on Monday afternoon as candidates for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award. The prestigious honor is presented to a student-athlete who has notable achievements in the areas of community, classroom, character and competition. The initial list of 30 candidates will be narrowed to 10 finalists midway through the regular season.

Liberty Bell Classic Quarterfinal Postponed to Wednesday
Inclement weather has once again forced a change to the baseball schedule, although this time around Mother Nature will only force a 24-hour postponement. Villanova will face Saint Joseph's at Smithson Field in Merion Station in the quarterfinal round of the Liberty Bell Classic on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. The teams met for a midweek game last Tuesday, which was the last time the Wildcats were on the field.
Offensive Burst Paces Wildcats Over Bearcats 16-10

Senior midfielder/faceoff specialist Jake Froccaro has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week. Joining him is sophomore goalkeeper Nick Testa, who after a record setting performance Saturday earned himself a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll.
