Mucci & Henderson Named to Preseason All-BIG EAST
Villanova women's lacrosse senior Jessica Mucci (Sevema Park, Md.) and junior Chelsey Henderson (West Long Brach, N.J.) have been selected to the All-BIG EAST Preseason Team, as announced by the BIG EAST Conference office Tuesday afternoon. Head Coach Julie Young's Wildcats were chosen sixth in the field of eight teams with 21 points ahead of Marquette and Cincinnati.
Wildcats Win Four Events at Metro Team Challenge
Villanova won four different events during a busy day of competition at the Metro Team Challenge on Friday afternoon. There were a total of 24 athletes competing for the Wildcats in seven individual races, one relay and five field events at New York Armory. More than 20 teams from the region competed at the famed New York City venue, with Villanova placing third in the team standings at the meet despite not having its full squad there.

Coyer's Career-High 28 Points Leads Villanova Past St. John's
Junior point guard Caroline Coyer poured in a career-high 28 points to lead the Villanova Wildcats to an 81-69 win over the visiting St. John's Red Storm. Coyer was 11-of-18 from the field and 6-of-10 from three-point range. The 11 field goals and six triples represent career-highs as well.

Wildcats Win Six Events, Capture Team Title at Metro Team Challenge
Led by terrific performances in the middle distance races, Villanova won six events overall and won the team title at the Metro Team Challenge held at the New York Armory on Friday afternoon. A number of teams from the region took part in the meet, which was the second in as many weeks for the Wildcats at the famed New York City venue.
