Wildcats Round Out Nonconference Play against Lafayette Leopards
The Villanova women's lacrosse team (4-4) is set to round out their nonconference schedule on Wednesday night against Lafayette (2-8) with the first draw set for 7 p.m. at Villanova stadium. The Wildcats are coming off a spectacular triple overtime win against High Point last Saturday and will look to continue this momentum push in their weekday matchup against the Leopards.
Villanova Takes Down Towson in Rain-Shortened Victory
After losing to Towson in the opening game of the first doubleheader of the Villanova home schedule, the Wildcats were able to take the second game and split the doubleheader. Nova won 1-0 in five innings due to the game being cut short due to heavy rain.
Don Cherry Named CAA Football Student-Athlete of the Year
Villanova University junior linebacker Don Cherry has been named the 2014 CAA Football Student-Athlete of the Year. In addition, 20 Wildcats earned CAA Academic All-Conference honors.

Villanova Plays Towson In Home Opener
The Villanova Wildcats played in their first home game of 2015 today at the Villanova Softball Complex against the Towson Tigers in a doubleheader. The first game of the double header went the Tigers way as they beat the Wildcats by a score of 4-2. The Wildcats led for most of the game but a three-run top of the sixth inning proved to seal the deal for the Tigers.

Villanova was well represented when the Philadelphia Big 5 announced its post-season award winners on Monday. The Wildcats are the Team of the Year.
Zandi Set to Join Wildcats This Fall
Zach Zandi, who has been a part of the Philadelphia Union Developmental program, is set to enroll at Villanova in time for the fall semester.
Men's Tennis Can't Outlast Bucknell
The Villanova men's tennis team traveled to Lewisburg, Pa. on Tuesday to take on the Bucknell Bison. The Wildcats took the doubles point and Chris Seitz and Michael Rosengren both won their singles matches.
