Women's Basketball to Close out Regular Season at Marquette Sunday
The Wildcats and Golden Eagles enter play on Sunday tied at 9-9 in the all-time series. The Wildcats won both meetings against the Golden Eagles last year and have won four of five overall versus Marquette. The Golden Eagles registered a 77-71 win at Villanova earlier this year in the Big East opener on Dec. 28.
Men's Track & Field Wins 4x800 Relay, Finishes Fourth at BIG EAST Meet
After winning the distance medley relay a day earlier, Villanova added another BIG EAST relay title on Saturday afternoon when redshirt freshman Lucas Arrivo (Ann Arbor, Mich.), redshirt freshman Logan Wetzel (Saline, Mich.), junior Elliot Slade (Cardiff, United Kingdom) and junior Ishmael Muhammad (Mays Landing, N.J.) combined to win the 4x800 meter relay in an exciting win over Georgetown and the rest of the field.

Nightcap Gets Away as Wildcats Fall to Oklahoma at 19 Ways Invitational
With a quick turnaround in between facing two premier opponents back to back, and with a third game looming less than 12 hours after the end of a long day, Villanova (0-5) dropped a 17-1 decision to Oklahoma (7-1) at L. Dale Mitchell Field on Saturday night. Earlier in the evening, the Wildcats were on the short end of a 10-3 score against Boston College. The pair of night-time contests, combined with Sunday morning’s 9 a.m. scheduled start time against Northern Illinois, make for a game schedule which will require Villanova to play three contests in a span of under 20 hours.
Wildcats Bats Come Alive in First Inning but Drop to Boston College, 10-3
Freshman left fielder Tyler Bruno (Breinigsville, Pa.) hit his second double of his collegiate career that drove in a run, even though the Wildcats dropped their second game at the 19 Ways Invitational against Boston College, 10-3 at L. Dale Mitchel Park. Senior Todd Czinege (Overland Park, Kan.) and sophomore JP Radvany (Lawrenceville, N.J.) also contributed with runs batted in as well.
Women's DMR, Adeline Scelzi the Big Winners on First Day at BIG EAST Championships
Sophomore multi-event athlete Sofia Calabrese (Edwards, Colo.) parlayed a personal best effort in the high jump to a third place finish in the pentathlon on the first day of the BIG EAST Championships on Friday afternoon. Calabrese cleared a height of 1.69 meters in the high jump to create some momentum in the second pentathlon event. She finished with 3,195 points at Ocean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex, while sophomore Niki Cleary (Flemington, N.J.) was eighth with a score of 2,915 points.

The Villanova swimming and diving program had another strong day on Friday at the BIG EAST Championships, as the Wildcats notched first place performances in four events and broke several school records.
Villanova's Five Game Winning Streak Snapped at DePaul
In the loss, Gedaka led the way for the Wildcats with 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds. She was 4-of-10 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line. Freshman Kelly Jekot and sophomore Adrianna Hahn had seven points each.
